Last night, I shot a fashion show at New York University called "Jhalak: A Night of South Asian Fashion and Flair."
Beforehand, I was able to place two Nikon SB-800 flashes to camera right and left (one clamped to a balcony railing and the other on a stand) and point them at the spot where the models would stop before turning around. I attached PocketWizard radio triggers. So, when they hit that spot ... I had my shot.
I used my new Nikon D300 and my trusty Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. If you want to see the entire gallery, I've posted it here, on our site forums.
