last stop
Submitted by farrell on Sat, 04/05/2008 - 10:57pm.Images are made where you find them... In this case, it was in a graveyard where I was helping my wife do some ancestry research.
This image is an HDR made from 9 separate exposures and then converted to B&W with an infrared filter. I felt the scene needed something other than the pure HDR colors and this seemed to work nicely.
pennsylvania scenery
Submitted by farrell on Sun, 03/02/2008 - 3:55pm.Here are some scenic photos from a trip we took to Pennsylvania yesterday. I used my Nikon D300 and these were all shot with my Nikon 18-200mm zoom.
These shots were either true HDRs or pseudo-HDR (1 exposure, tonemapped.)
The entire set can be found here on my Flickr page.
Sunny Day
Submitted by farrell on Sat, 01/19/2008 - 4:00am.I've been shooting a lot of bleak days lately, so I took the opportunity today to make some images in the sunshine.
I've also been spending more time with my Nikon 17-55 f/2.8, which is a very nice zoom to work with. Enjoy.
