It's not easy taking pictures of the moon, particularly when it's in a full lunar eclipse. Normally a bright object lit by the sun's reflection, an eclipsed moon is really a challenge.

I used ISO 800 on my Nikon D300 and a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for this shot. Really, I needed a longer lens.
